Plant Simulation Standard

The Plant Simulation Standard license covers the better part of typical simulation studies and allows handling even complex modeling tasks.

The Plant Simulation Standard license provides object-orientation, hierarchy, openness for database access and interactive modeling during the simulation run. In addition it supports numerous mechanisms for creating, validating and maintaining large projects.

The Plant Simulation Standard license allows to interactively create simulation models using the built-in objects covering material flow (SingleProc, ParallelProc, Sorter, Buffer, Store, Track, Line, etc.), moving objects (Transporter, Container and Entity), display objects (Gauge, Chart, Report) and tables. You can use these built-in objects as a starting point to create customized objects that meet your modeling needs by employing the programming language SimTalk.

The Plant Simulation Standard license can be upgraded to a Plant Simulation Professional License. It also can be upgraded with the optional modules for 3D visualization, data base interfaces, Gantt and SDX as well as the Assembly and Shop libraries.

Plant Simulation also is part of the Tecnomatix product family that offers applications for planning and optimizing production systems.

The Plant Simulation Standard license allows:

• Interactive modeling using built-in objects and user-defined objects, controls and processes with up to 4000 objects. TableFiles, control logics, are not included in this number.
• Unrestricted modification, adjustment or advancement of optional libraries as well as interactive communications.
• Full interactive access to tables and lists during the simulation runs.
• Ability to modify the simulation model and its parameters during a simulation interactively or via file interface (.txt, .xls), DDE or COM interface.
• Concurrent online animation of the material flow during the simulation, optionally with 3D-Viewer.
• Evaluation and graphical representation diagrams of model sizes by application of analysis tools, such as Bottleneck Analyzer, Sankey Chart and pre-defined evaluation objects.
• Built-in objects for material flow and information flow, as well as other objects for controlling, managing and visualizing your model.
